Day 1 / Cusco – Puerto Maldonado
Board your flight to Puerto Maldonado, upon arrival, be welcomed by the Inkaterra staff in the site Butterfly Farm. Afterwards, land transfer to boarding wharf to begin rainforest experience in a 45-minute boat ride along the Madre de Dios river. At arrival in Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica lodge, you’ll be briefed on general topics. Settle into your beautiful shack and be ready for lunch in the dining room. Enjoy a siesta and a refreshing tea time. At proper time we will take you to a guided walk along the trail system in the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica natural area. First night, Twilight River excursion / Afternoon cocktails followed by dinner served in the main dining room from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Retire early or join us to talk about your first day experience of life in the rainforest. Overnight at the Lodge.
Day 2 / Puerto Maldonado
Rest in bed or rise early, breakfast begins at 5:30 a.m. to avoid the heat and enjoy nature; Full buffet . This day starts with a visit to the Sandoval Lake an excursion into the Tambopata National Reserve. Return to the Inkaterra lodge for lunch; After lunch – take Inkaterra Canopy Walk if you prefer, extend your excursion to appreciate the sunset from one of the towers. Back to lodge enjoy cocktails in the main dining room or during the daily nature presentation in the Eco-Media Center. Dinner starts at 7:30 p.m., overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3 / Puerto Maldonado - Cusco
Enjoy a full breakfast before departure, a 45-minute up stream boat trip on the Madre de Dios River to Puerto Maldonado. Visit Inkaterra Butterfly Farm and then continue to the airport to board your return flight.
Includes: Round trip flight ticket to Puerto Maldonado from Lima or Cusco, accommodation, 3 daily meals, group guided tours in English mentioned in the itinerary with all entrance fees, transportation sail and ground between the airport and lodge.
Excludes: Personal expenses, airport taxes, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, gratuities and travel insurance.
